Exhibitions

November 2018 to 26 February 2019, featuring an exciting selection of new works commissioned by the gallery this year.

The exhibition is led by four new works by British designer Max Lamb, from his well-known Poly Series. The subject of a museum retrospective at The Art Institute of Chicago earlier in 2018, Lamb is renowned for creating work visually striking and conceptually powerful, pushing processes and materials to their limits.

Further highlights include a new collection of Crystallization Vases by German designer Lukas Wegwerth, Sam Orlando Miller’s Fuoco dei Viandanti, a large-scale sculptural fireplace made of mirror within a lacquered golden canvas, and a Dining Table in oak and onyx, one of the finest examples of Francesco Perini’s marquetry practice.

Reflecting FUMI’s focus on craft and materiality, the exhibition also features notable projects by atelier lachaert dhanis, Glithero, Josepha Gasch-Muche, Johannes Nagel, Kustaa Saksi, Lara Bohinc, Maria Bruun & Anne Dorthe Vester, Rowan Mersh, Simon Klenell, Thomas Lemut, Tina Roeder, Tuomas Markunpoika, Study O Portable and Voukenas Petrides.
